This thread is dedicated to a major change for spellcasters.

Listed under magic rules.
Quote:
3) A player may not move their feet when casting magic, unless otherwise stated or specified in the magics description. The same applies to all class abilities and skills that require activation. If a player moves his feet while casting magic it is interrupted and not cast. The caster must reset and begin casting again. In the case of magical balls, charging and throwing the ball is considered apart of casting. If you move your feet before the ball has left your hand then it is considered interrupted.

Listed under magic definitions
Quote:

Combat Casting (N, Neutral)
C: Druid 3, Wizard 3, Necromancer 3
E: The caster may move with a charged spellball without canceling the magic.

Combat Casting replaces Ambidexterity, which is now an automatic skill gained at various levels dependant on class.

Feel free to discuss this rule change.

This is a good change. I like the fact that they can now move, but my question is will they be able to move while enchanting the spellball? I like the fact that they are now able to move with a charged spellball, because it now means the whole team can move, as usually the spellcaster is always protected by one or more people. Now that they are able to move, hopefully there will be less of a stand-off situation and more action involved in the class battles. My only concern is that they'll also be able to move while casting the spell, which could possibly give them an unfair advantage. But, it's just an opinion, so regard it as such.

No, they will not be able to move while casting the spell ball.
