I am selling ABS shield bosses I currently have two designs but will make custom orders.
Standard shapes are dome and cone versions. If you would like to see these I can personally bring you out a sample copy of them.

Standard shapes (cone and dome) $10
Custom shapes $20 for the first $10 for any after that. This is for construction of a new mold.

How much would you charge for a good size Kite shield?

Give me dimensions, picture, and whether you want it curved.

Can you do a curve with plywood? This coming weekend I'll have my measuring tape. I want the top to be at least as wide as shoulder width.

Yes, I can curve plywood. Are you wanting a heater or a tear drop shield. Heaters are flat topped and come down to a point. Tear drops are the same only round at the top.
Teardrops are late Norman/ Viking design evolving from the round while Heaters are 12th century and up pretty much.

Well, my kit will most likely be 14th centrury - Which do you think is more appropriate?

Something like this would be cool...

Heh, I think that's a Templar shield too.

14th century would have heater or flat topped shields. The shield you showed has no historical precidence as far as I know. But that doesn't mean you can't still make it. I just see the two indensions making it harder to protect your shoulder. When you install straps do not make them horizontal, angle them to a 45 degree angle. This serve two purposes. 1- Easier on your arm to hold up. 2- Easier to protect that shoulder.

Okay, I'd like it simular to that picture, without the indents on the top corners. If you were to make the shield, with a basic cover (I will create a removable cover to go over it, one I can swap depending on the eprsona I use) and the straps as you suggested, what would that cost me?
