What other live action role playing games would you play?
Like i would try a cyberpunk one or a game in a dystopian setting.
and i read about some people playing a lovecraftian one in a warehouse that sounded kind of cool. I would also like to see a steam punk one.

Amtgard was my first LARP. I haven't tried anything else.
I've done Pen and Paper RPGs before though, D&D and Vampire.

A long time ago I worked for a short time on a Shadowrun LARP. That would be cool, but only with lots of people, and mostly it involved Airsoft and alot of RP seeing as we need to be set in a city.

I've read that some night clubs will have party's that are set in a cyberpunk theme and you have to role play the whole time they do this once a month and people make personas. kind of like a hough group of people playing 2020 or something with out dice.
sound fun but it's all role play and no action

I heard of a bunch of guys who rented out an old apartment complex (or maybe it was a warehouse) once a month or every other month for a cyberpunk (Shadowrun) LARP. I think it was nerf weapons, but that was before viable airsoft weapons.

That would be awesome to play in. Would be hard to include everything in shadowrun (like the metahumans, magic, etc), but would still be hella fun.

Dan, the offer to show me airsoft when I visit still valid?

Heh, I have gotten out of it sorta, me living on my own doesn't give me alot of time or money for all of my hobbies so I had to narrow them down. And one that got cut was Airsoft. But I may be able to help you, depends on when you come in.
